10 scholarships awarded at the School of Business, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City

The “RongViet Scholarships – Nurturing Dreams” program was initiated in 2024 to recognize the outstanding academic achievements of students pursuing studies in economics and finance, while also supporting them in overcoming financial challenges so they can focus on developing the knowledge and skills necessary for their future and careers.

In addition to financial support, scholarship recipients can also participate in career orientation activities, as well as networking and knowledge-sharing sessions within the finance student community organized by RongViet Securities. Furthermore, they are provided with opportunities for internships and potential employment at the Company in the future. This enables students to gain practical experience and develop their careers in the finance and securities industry.

In its first year of implementation, RongViet Securities collaborated with 10 universities and academies nationwide to award 52 scholarships with a total value of VND 460 million. Each scholarship serves as a significant source of encouragement—providing not only financial support to help students overcome economic challenges, but also strong motivation for them to continue striving in their academic journey and pursuing their dreams. The “RongViet Scholarships – Nurturing Dreams” program is also one of the initiatives that demonstrates RongViet’s commitment to contributing to the development of education and nurturing the next generation of talented individuals.

Sharing her thoughts upon receiving the scholarship, Thái Thị Thanh Trúc, a fourth-year student majoring in Securities Market at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, said: “The scholarship is not only financial support, but also a great source of motivation for me to develop myself and pursue my dreams. With a strong passion and special interest in the securities field, this scholarship is a valuable opportunity for me to continue learning, enhancing my knowledge, and contributing to the securities industry in the future.”

Notably, the RongViet Invest competition—focused on financial knowledge and practical stock investment—has gained significant recognition among university students nationwide. The second season of the competition is currently underway with intense participation from thousands of contestants in the individual category and representatives from 24 universities in the team category. 

In addition, for younger students, RongViet continues to organize the weekly workshop series “Money Doesn’t Grow on Trees”, aiming to equip them with fundamental personal finance knowledge and help them develop better saving and spending habits.
